Standing for Faith and Truth and the American Dream

It has been said that those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.  In our nation and in too many others around the world, we see the creeping virus of disbelief in our private, public and civic life.  It is essential for every human being to believe in something greater and more noble than themselves.

A good religion or spirituality provides this faith and belief and teaches a moral code as well.  Believe in Science, if you will.  Believe in America or your family but believe in something greater than yourself.

Countless hours staring at a game console, tablet, smartphone or other device has many of our Millennials living in an artificial universe where they don’t talk, they text, they don’t make love, they hook up, they don’t work, they do their thing.

Far too many Americans under 40 believe in nothing, experience little of real life and have retreated to a Doll House existence.  (Doll House is a chilling sci-fi series about a near future reality in which humans don’t live in the outside world at all, we lay on couches and experience life through AI, (artificial intelligence).

If you are not familiar with Doll House, stream it on Netflix.  It will scare the pudding out of you!

Belief is the greatest power of the human mind. Some call it faith which is a first cousin to belief, only deeper. Faith can heal when the doctors give up; it can move mountains, surmount any obstacle, achieve the “impossible” and create whatever you can believe and conceive.

A society that has lost its core belief is doomed. Rome did not fall because it was evil or corrupt but because it stopped believing in the Gods of Rome and the ethos of the Roman state and so they ceased to be Romans.  Are we headed for the same fate?

What is America’s Core belief?  It is the American Dream, in which fewer and fewer believe today.  It never was a promise or a guaranteed benefit.  It was a chance to be more and do more than your grandparents or parents.  It was a chance to be free, to speak your mind without fear or reprisal,  it was a chance for those who arrived in steerage to travel in First Class within a few years with enough desire and hard work.

It still exists and is alive and well but it seems that only immigrants believe in The American Dream today.  We hear all too often that the system is “rigged”. It is only rigged if you believe its rigged.

Andrew Carnegie was nearly bankrupt when he finished the first steel bridge over the Mississippi River with borrowed money.  Within 5 years he was the richest man in America.

To those without belief, courage and guts the system will always seem to be rigged.  Was it rigged for my Cambodian neighbors? Here is their story.

I patronize a dry cleaners owned by a family of Cambodian immigrants.  They walked 500 miles to get to Thailand, fleeing the death camps of the vicious Khymer Rouge.  They had $100 to their name when they arrived in America.

Today they own 4 dry cleaners and 5 restaurants, providing a fine living for the entire extended family.  They came here with $100 to their name.

How did they do this when so many Americans believe that this story is no longer possible?  Immigrants are highly motivated and they believe that in America anything is possible and so it becomes possible for them.  Faith, courage and hard work does the rest.

Doubt or cynicism is the enemy of the creation of our good for the cynic and the constant skeptic believes in nothing; not even in themselves.

I believe that the day that we stop welcoming immigrants to the US will be the day that America begins to die.  Immigrants refresh the tree of Liberty with their hopes, dreams, hard work and faith.  They are a lesson for all Americans and an example of the American Dream in action.

Thoughts From A “Valley Boy”

For those of you not born and raised in Southern California a bit of explanation is needed.  A Valley Boy or Valley Girl is someone from the San Fernando Valley Section of Los Angeles.   Valley Boys and Girls have a particular way of speaking, thinking and acting.  Got to be hip, very cool and talk with a rather strange accent.  Toadily Rad is one example from the old days.  Also saying “Like” 10 times in a sentence began in the Valley.

When my parents moved from the seaside city of Long Beach out to the “Valley” in 1950 it was the fastest growing place in the entire United States.  Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Roy Rogers, Gail Storm (My Little Margie), Liberace, Andy Devine, (Jingles) William Boyd (Hopalong Cassidy) Tex Ritter, Gene Autry, Hugh O’Brien (Wyatt Earp) were just a few of the movie and TV Stars that called the San Fernando Valley their home.  Not to mention the author of the book “Tarzan” (Edgar Rice Burroughs) who got a neighborhood in the Valley (Tarzana) named after his famous jungle man.

Van Nuys Blvd was the prototype for “cruising” and car clubs all over America.  This iconic street runs right through the middle of the Valley and was THE place to show off your “ride”, do a little street racing (until the LAPD showed up) and get a shake and a Big Boy hamburger at Bob’s Big Boy Drive in on the Boulevard.

I grew up in this wonderful place, cruising, dating, laughing and loving. I went to Van Nuys High School, just two blocks from the famous “Boulevard” .  Went to college at what was then San Fernando Valley State College (now Cal-State U Northridge).  The movie “American Graffiti” was about the Valley and this era.

OK, what is the point of this walk down memory lane?   There is no deep message, no spiritual truth that will jump out at you in this post.  I had a very good childhood; with the exception of a Southern Drama Queen Mother and an Armenian Long Suffering Father but they were great, in spite of it all.  Dad did the parenting and Mom was the teacher, law giver and disciplinarian.

My childhood forged in my character an affinity for strong capable women like my dear wife Susan, the love of my life.

What did I learn from my childhood and teen journey through the 50’s and 60’s in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles?

I was damn fortunate to be born in post war Southern California where all things were deemed not only possible but routine.  LA was the center of the world and there was nothing that could not be done or achieved.

I had slightly unusual but loving parents who prepared me well for the life I was to lead.

I was raised a Religious Scientist (Los Angeles was the center of Religious Science and the Home Office of the denomination) which gave me an understanding that God provides the innate qualities of life and we create our life experience through wise use of the Law of Mind Action: (as a person thinks, so they are).

That nothing ever really happens to you, you happen to it.  You are the motive force, the driving wheel of your life.  What you think is creative.  What you say has tremendous power and what you do or fail to do changes your life in ways you cannot fully fathom.  It’s all up to you, but a power much, much greater than you or I is always open, always available for help, inspiration, comfort and strength.  That is the God within which is the Most High God.

And So It Is!

The Truth About You and I

I know the truth about you and I and I have not even met you yet.  There is an overriding Truth about humanity and about every single human on Earth.

That Truth is that in the basics of life we are all the same.  Yes, we have different exteriors, colors, hair type, mental abilities, sexual preferences,  personalities  dreams and desires.

And yet we are more alike than we are different.  Every human on the planet bleeds red blood when cut or wounded.  Every human cries when sad or hurt. Every human must eat and drink often. Every human on the planet must release liquid and solid waste at frequent intervals and every one of us has a pump we call the heart that circulates the blood that carries the oxygen on which life depends.

Pump stops, we die …all races, all nationalities; death knows no country,  culture or color.

Every single one of us has dreams and aspirations; most of us ponder the mystery of creation, which we explain by one system of religion or another.  Or perhaps we make science our secular religion to explain the unexplainable.

We laugh, we get horny, we love, we hate, we kiss and we fight.  We get hungry and we fast.  We are serene and we are anxious but the one constant about humanity is that we are all cut from the same cloth, made in the same mold and have the same Creator.

Every one of us is born of a woman, conceived with the help of a man, and every one of us will end his or her journey in death.  Most believe that the mind and soul goes on, some believe in “lights out, its over”.  I do believe that we live on many, many times but which of us really knows?

The commonality of humanity needs to be re-stated over and over and over in this age where empathy for our fellow humans is running rather thin.  We need to see the common thread of humanity to realize that the differences are mainly cosmetic and personal.  In our laudable search for diversity we have splintered our societies into constituencies and social and political identities that have had the unintended consequence of dividing rather than uniting the human family.

We are ONE, Created by one Divine Mind, Great Architect, Ground of Being or just God.  We are made of love and come from love.  Love giving itself by the Creator creating all out of itself and on Earth a joining in love of our parents.

Look in the eyes of the next person you meet and see yourself in their eyes no matter the color of their skin, the shape of their features or the type of their hair. They are you with a different exterior decorator.

Every human wants a happy life.  Every parent wants success and happiness for their children and every mother thrills at the first stirring in her womb.  Every man becomes a father the first time he holds his baby in his arms and he’s hooked for life.  All of us wants our children to advance beyond what mom and dad achieved in this life.

One of my greatest joys is watching my three lovely children building wonderful families of their own; buying their first homes, enjoying rewarding and well paid careers and having good solid, American affluent lives.

This success was no Ozzie and Harriet tale.  It happened in spite of being children of a rather unpleasant divorce and being bi-racial.  They had additional hurdles to jump but that only made them stronger and smarter. They are loved by both parents and they know it and that is what enables them to surmount any obstacle.

Love is the lubrication of the good life.  Empathy is the glue that holds a civil society together .  My RX for America is More Love and a Boatload of Empathy, which is in short supply at the moment; in our body politic and in our conversations with each other.

Until we are together again, reach out to someone who needs encouragement, love or understanding.  See the One, Be the One and live as One.

The Millennial Effect

There is unease, anger, fear and uncertainty; seemingly all around the world.  Religious fanaticism rears its ugly head, most notably in Islam, but all too often in Fundamentalist Christianity, Ultra Orthodox Judaism, and even Hindu Nationalism.  What is happening and why? Perhaps its the Millennium Effect!

With the end of a millennium comes the end of an Age. Often these Ages are given astrological names from the signs of the zodiac.  We are entering the Age of Aquarius; according to my astrologically gifted friends.   Whether you believe that the conjunction of the planets and stars affects the affairs of humans and the course of history is a matter of personal belief.  What we do know is that  periods of unrest and uncertainty accompany the turn of the millennium.

I believe its all about energy since all that exists here or in the cosmos is energy.  Matter is simply low vibration energy; this is physics, not astrology.  Can the magnetic fields of the Cosmos be altered by the movements of the planets, star systems and galaxies?  Perhaps.

What do you believe?  I do know that as a Virgo Birth Sign I am handsome (so my wife tells me) intelligent, have some leadership qualities but am prone to judgement of others and can be quite picky and petty, if I don’t guard against it.

So perhaps the astrological matrix into which we are born does influence our personalities but I will also tell you that no one is a slave to his “chart”.  It is only a possible path, perhaps a warning sign; but we determine our lives, we write the script and can edit it at will. Our “sign” only describes tendencies, not our future.

We are in the beginning of the Millennial Effect of the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, a time in which the Spiritual is supposed to flower and bring a new way of life to human kind.  There is always darkness before the dawn and we are experiencing it right now.

This is a phenomenon humanity has not experienced for 1,000 years.  The last millennial change in the year 1,000 was widely thought to be the “end of the world”.  Millions of Christians went to bed on December 31, 999 expecting to find themselves in Heaven or Hell as January 1,1000 dawned.  Quite a surprise when they awoke in the same old serf’s hut or Lord’s Castle!

This dawning of a New Age threatens the old ways of thinking, believing and behaving.  Religion hardens and becomes rigid and unforgiving as it strives to hold back the Light.  Nations experience entropy and may fly apart into tribal societies.  We see this in the UK, the EU, Syria (perhaps the oldest nation on the planet) and we see dangerous tribal rumblings, even in the US as racial tensions soar and police community relations enter a dire phase.

White America perceives the loss of their nation and the world they have known.  Black America feels oppressed and endangered at every turn.  Many of all races and creeds feel that the “system” does not work for them and that it is rigged.

Facts are little help in combating the angst.  In many ways this is the best of times, but try to convince anyone of that right now!  The Millennial Effect is about feelings, not intellect or facts.  It is primal, soul deep and gut wrenching.

We have become a nation of constituencies rather that One out of Many.  Our politics are more and more tribal; we vote our color, our faith, our sexual orientation or our region and, yes even our social class.

Tribalism is always a ticket to stagnation and decay.  The poorest and most underdeveloped nations are tribal and always have been. We can prosper and thrive together as One or perish separately as fools.

Could it be that in our urgent search for diversity we have sacrificed the unity that will save us all?  The melting pot made Americans in two generations out of people from all over the globe.  The “fruit salad” idea of today has made us a nation of separate identities and agendas and thereby fragmented our national spirit and our politics.

We bemoan our “divided America”.  How could it be otherwise when identity politics rules our national spirit.  The only identity that matters to me is the one that says I Am a Divine Human and an American. The solution must be a new social and spiritual contract.

Next post we will explore what to do about this tribalism and entropy.

A Sure Fire Fix for the Potholes in the Path of Your Life!

Is your life perfect?  Just exactly the way you have always dreamed that it would be?   Not so much?  Well, almost all of us have areas of our life that could use some improvement.  Perhaps its prosperity or maybe health.  Stress, worry and inner turmoil may be the problem which brings physical problems with it.

Perhaps you feel unloved and lonely and long for someone to love and understand you as a person.  You just want someone to “get you”.  What to do? How can we fix our lives quickly and painlessly in just a matter of days?

Ready?  Here is the sure fire fix for all that ails any human life.

Take responsibility for your life!  Yes, its that simple.  Here are the 3 steps to reclaiming, repairing and retooling your life.

1. Understand that blame and fault are not the same as responsibility.  You are not to blame for the shape your life is in but you are responsible!  Get over the blame game.

2. Be aware that not one person on Earth has been present every second of your life but YOU!  Therefore you are the driving wheel, the motive force of your life.  You thought the thoughts, spoke the cursing or the blessing each morning as you arose or before you went to sleep in the evening.  You either saw the good or complained endlessly of the bad.  What you think and speak is what you experience. What are we all but our thoughts, words and choices?

3. If you can honestly say that I wrote this novel, I produced and directed this movie that I call my life then you have just set yourself free.  Free at last, good God Almighty you are Free At Last.  You see, if you did it then you can change it because the ONLY person on this Earth that you can really control is YOU!

As Paul put it so well:  Think and speak only of things of good report. Thoughts are things and they are the building blocks of the Universe and of your life.  Nothing ever was made except by the thought and the Word.  God made the entire Universe by means of His thought and His Word.  As above, so below, which means that things here on Earth work by the same principles as they do in the Cosmos. You create your entire life by your thoughts and your words which create your choices and actions.

If you believe that your troubles and sorrow are the results of others then you are helpless because you can not really ever control any other being but you. With this belief that life happens to you, you live as a constant victim.  It is like spending your life in an Emergency Room lurching from crisis to crisis; powerless and depending on someone to fix you.

But if you created, promoted or allowed the mess and disarray to come into your life, then you can think a new thought and speak a new word of happiness, health, plenty and joy.  Watch your life change before your eyes!  You happen to life!  Your life is a mirror of you!

Your outer world is just a perfect mirror or reflection of what is in your mind, heart and soul.  The outer mirrors the inner you.  Change the inner and the outer must change correspondingly.  This idea is the root principle of Religious Science and the teaching of the Science of Mind.

You can heal your body with your mind and heart.  You can heal your finances with your mind and heart.  You can heal your marriage with your mind and heart.  You can heal your self esteem with your mind and heart.  You are the Doctor of your Life.   Ministers like me can teach you the techniques but you must do the work.

Nothing in your life changes until you do!  All true change is from the inside out.

This is basic stuff but it cannot be repeated often enough.  Throw off the chains of victim hood co-dependence and guilt and take charge of the most precious gift God has given you…….Your life!

Until we are together again, walk in the Light, Live in the Love and set yourself free by becoming the Master of your Life.

God’s Update System according to Rev. Dore’

click on the link below to hear audio version

Even though we are only 3 months from 2016 as I write this, there is still a hot debate over evolution.  There are many millions, if not billions, who simply reject the entire idea that species evolve as conditions change and designs prove their efficacy or are rejected by natural selection. I know its true! I can see evolution’s work every day in my back yard!

When I look out my back windows or sit out on my Lanai overlooking our lovely pond surrounded with Maple trees (yes we do have maple trees) I can see our Florida Squirrels scampering up and down the trees doing what squirrels do everywhere.  Where Northern or Western Squirrels have big, magnificent bushy tails, their Florida cousins have skinny little tails that have more in common with a rat than the squirrels I knew in California.

Heat and humidity and bushy tails just don’t work in Florida so our squirrels have evolved with just the remnant of the usual tail.  Our crows don’t call the way every other crow calls.  Our birds have long legs for wading in water. Everything adapts to a new environment or dies.

Why the argument?  Well the Creationists believe that if evolution is fact, then God is negated.  Why?  Could not God, who creates all things, have created the system of evolution? What if evolution is God’s update system, rather like our periodic updates to our computers and tablets? Science and God are not antithetical but are rather complementary.

Let’s agree on one thing: if indeed there is a God, He or She is not stupid.  God certainly did not create the world as it is portrayed in the ancient Sumerian myth that we call Genesis.  But that does not mean that God does not exist.

I absolutely know that there is a First Cause, a Divine Mind, a Creator of all that exists because the Universe is just too well engineered and planned to be random.  DNA is one of the greatest engineering feats of all time.

Could we do that?  We can manipulate DNA but we can not design it. We, with all our science and all our technology, cannot even get to Mars much less the stars.  This will undoubtedly change as it becomes a priority and moves to the top to the human “to do” list.

We can manipulate that which is already created by the Creator but we do not and can not create.  God will still have a job and a place in our hearts as long as there are things to create and people to use them, enjoy them and cherish them.

Yes, Evolution is a fact and so is God.  God is the author of Evolution, it is Her update and regeneration system. Without it the Earth would by this time be a barren ball of dust, devoid of life.  Life, evolution and the Universe are not zero-sum games.

Think well, speak well and do well.  This is really the secret of life

It’s all in your Mind!

click on the audio link above (speakers on!)

Picture a psychiatrist’s couch with you reclining upon it while you attempt to describe your problems and emotional issues to your therapist.  After you finish the “50 minute hour” with the Doctor he looks at you and tells you that all your problems are really all in your mind.  He or She is absolutely right.  $225 later you may feel a bit better for having shared your feelings but the solution still lies with you.

It’s all in your mind!  Of course it is.  Your entire life is in your mind.  Your whole existence is in your mind.  Your body is just the mobile device to transport the mind.  You are your mind!   This is obvious to some but many more of us really believe that the body is who and what we are.  Even more of us confuse the brain with the mind. They most certainly are not the same.

The brain is an organ of the body, an electro-chemical organic processor and bodily interface for the mind.  So where is the mind?  Science currently is operating on the theory that it exists in every cell of our body.  In other words, the mind is the sum of our parts.  Metaphysics and theology tend to see the mind  like an aura or magnetic field around the body.  This is what cerulean photography captures when auras are photographed.

If you haven’t seen your aura yet, or don’t even know that you have one, get it photographed when the opportunity presents itself.  You will be amazed at what you can learn about yourself by understanding the energy that you project through the electro-magnetic  field that we call an aura.  Every human projects this energy every second of their lives.  This is the shadow of the human mind.

The Mind to me is the Divine Spark, the Divinity within each human.  It is that part that knows that it knows.  It is the self aware part of the human experience. It is the imagination which is unique to humanity; the part of us that has been called the proof of God’s existence.  It is what allows you and I to be able to escape the bonds of environment, the shackles of precedent, custom or the “way it has always been”.  If we can see it in our mind’s eye, we can create it in form. All thanks to our imagination; perhaps our greatest gift from the Creator.

Imagination is that part of us that can take a mental trip to stars and galaxies never before seen by humankind.  It is that part of the builder that sees the Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge long before the first hammer rang or the first girder was welded in place.  It is that part of us that sees a world where character, not appearance, is the sole measure of a human.  Imagination is the part of us that sees every child safe, loved,  going to school, not one hungry and all humanity safe and happy.

Without the fears, ideas, dreams, plans that are “all in our mind” nothing ever comes into form in the “real world” of stuff and things.  Not one thing was ever created in the Cosmos or on Earth without first appearing in some sentient being’s mind.  In truth, all human life takes place in the mind, aided by the organic computer that we call the brain.

Your therapist was right, it is all in your mind but that does not mean that it isn’t real.  There is nothing more real that what is in your mind.  Your thoughts and emotions are the building blocks of your life!  In truth you are your Mind.   When we in Religious Science say that your mind is the Mind of God, your love is the Love of God, your life is the Life of God; this is what we mean:  We are all expressions of God, part and parcel of the great Divine Mind, the Universal Intelligence, the Great I Am which we call God. God and each of us are truly one.

If you can conceive it, believe it and see it already done, you can experience it.

Until we are together again…walk in Light and Love each and every day.

But We Have Always Done It This Way!

click on the link for audio version

But we’ve always done it this way!  How often have you heard this?  I hear it daily and it makes me crazy!  Why?  Because as Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds”.  Was he saying that people who are incapable of “thinking outside the box” are stupid or ignorant?  No, I believe that he was saying that they are prisoners of precedent; journeymen on the beaten path of life unable to deviate from the familiar, the safe and the comfortable.

If that is how one chooses to live that is their choice.  It might be a rather hum-drum life however, because the beaten path holds little adventure or drama. It’s safe but rather boring I should think.  It is also the death knell of societies and institutions.

The only real constant in the Universe is change.  As the Bible tells us, “as above, so below” which means that the laws the govern the Cosmos also govern life on Earth.  Evolution is the natural order of all things: living beings, ideas, mores, societies, institutions and civilizations.  Those who refuse to evolve die!

The Koala Bear is a fine example of a charming, cuddly little creature that shows no ability to change or evolve.  It spends its entire life in a Eucalyptus tree and eats only Eucalyptus leaves, even drawing its water from them.  When the “gum trees”, as the Aussies call them, die so will these cute little bear like rodents.  With climate change a certainty, change in all areas of life is no longer optional.

Humans are perhaps the only creatures on Earth not bound by precedent.  We don’t have to live in one place and eat one thing.  We don’t have to think the same thoughts as our ancestors, have the same beliefs, or follow the same outmoded moral code.  We don’t have to worship Deity the way our distant cousins 2015 yeas ago did.

We can write a new chapter, film a new movie, create a new way of life. Yes, change can be scary and disruptive and it’s no wonder that many of us are frightened by the lightening fast changes in our culture, our way of life and in our world.  Many of us succumb to the “Golden Age Syndrome” as we fixate on a time or place when things were idyllic and life was perfect.  We want to go back to an era that never existed, except in our mind’s eye.

There is an old saying that says: “you can’t go home again” and its true.  Oh, yes you can literally move back to the old neighborhood but its not the old neighborhood anymore is it? The houses have been torn down or been renovated; the people no longer look just like you, and it just doesn’t feel like the neighborhood of your youth.  I just experienced this feeling touring the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of my youth.  Dore’ was no longer at home there.

The 50’s are often cited as the “golden age” of America.  The G.I.’s came home by the millions in a matter of months in late 1945 and 1946 into a society suddenly thrust from a war footing to civilian life again.  Nothing was available during the war; cars, appliances, tires, fuel, meat, all sorts of consumer goods were rationed or not available.

If you had a pulse you had a job; every factory was being retooled for civilian production and most jobs were union jobs with high wages and lush benefits.  Post War America was a different world in which the USA was the only major industrial power never to feel the horrors and destruction of war, we were safe behind our oceans, we had “The Bomb” and were the masters of the world.

For some it was a golden age, but not so much if you were not of European descent.  Prejudice was rampant in the 50’s of my youth.  There were slur names for almost every nationality, even the White ones!  A Catholic marrying a Protestant….scandal!  A Jew moved in down the block or worse yet Hispanic or what we called Negros, when being polite!  Wow, you could watch the For Sale signs bloom like dandelions on the lawns.  Some Golden Age!  More like the Age of judgement, conformity and sameness.  And I grew up in Los Angeles; imagine life in New Orleans, Dallas or Atlanta in 1950!

You see, we just can’t stand still in this thing called life.  There was a wonderful little book called “Who Moved My Cheese?” which became required reading in Corporate America.  The lesson of this book is that if you are a mouse and the cheese moves, you best move to another supply of cheese or starve.  Those who cling to the past are doomed, in the final analysis.

Change is the natural order of things, it is the way the Great Architect renews and refreshes His/Her Creations.  Perhaps the way you always did it was not the best way.  Have a new thought, try a new way.  You just might surprise yourself and begin a whole new life full of joy, discovery and growth.

Until we are together again…..Remember, your life is the Life of God, your Love is the Love of God, your Mind is the Mind of God.

Why Are We Here?

Audio Version, click on the link above (speakers on!)

As a minister, I am often asked: “why am I here”?  “What’s my purpose?” This question suggests that we are all on “a mission from God” as Jake and Elwood Blues used to say.  Many people like to believe that each of us has a special role to play in this thing called life.

I believe that they are right but not necessarily in the way they may intend.  Yes, we have a vital purpose here on Earth as part of our never ending eternal journey of the soul.. a purpose no being can fulfill but us!

Jesus taught us that God is a spirit….do not look for Him here, there, or up there.  He is everywhere present all at the same time, in fact God is all that exists!  Once you accept that basic fact then our purpose becomes clearer.  Spirits may observe but not participate, rather like the characters in the great movie “City of Angels”.

Spirits cannot operate in a physical realm, they will never know the glory of an orgasm, the luscious sweet joy of the first bite of a peach, the feel of your little girl’s arms around your neck as she runs to greet you or the smile of your son when he catches the ball you tossed.

God loves us so much that he makes humanity out of the very substance of Itself. We really do live and move and have our being within the body of God.  We swim in God every moment of our lives as a fish swims in the sea.

Our mission on this Earth is to allow the Creator to experience the physical world of His/Her Creations.  We are physical expressions of God, the very creator of all that is.  You want purpose, that is a purpose beyond our imagination.

Remember, God is all there is so God never has a bad day!  It’s all good to the Life Force that creates all.   Our job is to be the best expression of God we can be, to  show the Creator a good time and at the same time live a useful, productive and joy filled life.  Whatever your heart and talent leads you to in life, do it to the best of your ability.  You really are on a mission from God and that mission is one of experiencing the very best life can offer.
